Forbes released it’s annual list of the richest “self made women under 40” and among that list were Black American women which included, tennis champion winner of 23 Grand Slams Serena Williams. Williams entered the list top ten slot with a whopping net worth of $225 million. Is it safe to say her husband entrepreneur Alex Ohanian with a current net worth of $9 million came up? Or does what’s understood need not be explained? Serena Williams rose from humble beginnings and family tragedy living through the tragic murder of her oldest sister Yetunde in the fall of 2003. She is a tennis legend that has solidified herself in American history. Her athleticism netted commercial wealth that is beyond noteworthy.
