Forbes released it’s annual list of the richest “self made women under 40” and among that list were black American women which included, tennis champion winner of 23 Grand Slams Serena Williams. Mrs. Williams entered the list top ten with a whopping net worth of $225 million. Is it safe to say her husband entrepreneur Alex Ohanian with a current net worth of $9 million came up? Or does what’s understood need not be explained? Either way being a black American woman to arise from humble beginnings and family tragedy all the while her oldest sister Yetunde was murdered in the fall of 2003 and amass such success is beyond noteworthy!
