During the Simpsons 31st annual “Treehouse of Horror” episode on Oct. 31 the veteran cartoon characters decided to take an animated swipe at current politics. While doing so they ran down their laundry list of reasons not to vote for Trump which included him destroying “democracy”. They suggested that a vote for Kanye West would aid Donald Trump. A message some young voters have called “an effort to discourage a black candidate”. Was the episode all fun or did “Homer” and crew call it how their creators see it?
