When you walk down the toilet paper aisles it’s not deja vu. New covid-19 restrictions have taken effect nationwide and as a result Americans are once again stockpiling on essential items. On Friday Walmart revealed that they are “seeing pockets of lower than normal availability.” That same day over 22 states had imposed new orders in an attempt to reduce the spread of the virus heading into the holidays. Many retailers including Kroger and Target have reinstated purchase limits on a slew of items due to the renewed trend according to The Washington Post.
