The American Music awards were held on Nov. 22 and Cardi B broke a new record by becoming the first artist in the organizations history to win twice in a favorites (Rap/Hiphop) category.
Her first victory was in 2018 for her breakout single “Bodak Yellow” and once more last night for her song “WAP” with Megan thee Stallion. Cardi B (Belcalis Almanzar) was unable to attend the ceremony but did express her gratitude via social media saying ” Thank your guys sooo much. Me and Meg really appreciate all the love from fans, celebs everybody that supported the song” she also thanked her fans for voting.
