On Monday the General Services Administrations chief Emily Murphy reached out to President-elect Joe Biden to inform him that the current administration has made federal resources available for his official transition. President Trump tweeted moments later in support of the move saying the “team” would follow all “initial protocols.” This letter was interpreted as a concise indication of Trump formally accepting defeat in the November election although he has yet to concede.
