The VERZUZ battle between Ashanti & Keyshia Cole has been delayed several times sending R&B lovers in a tizzy. Keyshia Cole was captured attempting to soothe nostalgic fans on Twitter who were “tired” of the the recent postponements while conveying her own annoyance.
Cole expressed her own frustrations with the delays but assured fans that it was for a considerate cause. Saying “I’m so sorry the @verzuztv event didn’t happen! I want you guys to kno, I really think @applemusic didn’t want to put staff/Production in danger along with @ashanti and myself. Due to the recent spike with the Corona virus…” She also told supporters to expect a formal announcement regarding the match on Monday.
