Longtime Jeopardy host and television icon Alex Trebek has passed away at the age of 80 after battling pancreatic cancer.
Trebek was transparent when his condition was diagnosed informing viewers that he was in stage 4 cancer. After the revelation the host chose to continue working on the beloved game show while going through chemotherapy treatments. He never retired and through his illness managed to host seemlessly.
