President- elect Joe Biden revealed details of his proposed “American Rescue Plan” that totals $1.9 trillion. The incoming commander in chief plans to allocate $400 billion to address the covid-19 pandemic. With $20 billion going to further the national vaccination program and $50 billion set to support expanded testing. This third stimulus package will also include another round of direct payments to Americans to the tune of $2,000 a piece. While unemployment recipients will receive $400 per week in addition to child tax credits being bolstered. Rental relief is also spoken for in this bill alongside childcare credits and sick pay.

No child is scheduled to be left behind with $130 billion being set aside for grade schools to safely reopen within 100 days. It also includes a suggestion to raise the national minimum wage to $15 an hour and ensures food stability by widening the SNAP food assistance program. The $1.9T plan is only half of his proposed two part “initiative.” Which means that more helped would be on the way if this passes Congress in February.

Notably infrastructure, manufacturing and clean energy provisions are also cited in the objective.

During an impromptu interview on Tuesday President Trump answered several questions regarding his possibility of a consecutive impeachment and whether he played any role in the Capitol Hill insurrection that took place on last week by his supporters which caused five casualties and countless injuries.

Trump described the possibility of a second formal House rebuke as “a terrible thing” that was placing the country in great “danger.” When reporters asked if he felt any “personal responsibility” for inciting the invasion he chose to stand by his remarks “If you read my speech, and many people have done it and I’ve seen it both in the papers and in the media, on television, it’s been analyzed and people thought that what I said was totally appropriate.”

Trump also credited the House leaders for continuing “the greatest witch hunt in political history” by initiating his second impeachment which would be a first for any sitting US President. “This impeachment is causing tremendous anger, and you’re doing it and it’s really a terrible thing that they’re doing.” He continued “For Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to continue on this path I think it’s causing tremendous danger to our country and it’s causing tremendous anger. I want no violence” @NBC. He also suggested that large social media platforms were causing “problems” by suspending his account. And said a “counter move” would take place but did not clarify the assertion further.

The New England Patriots head coach namely Bill Belichick has revealed his declination of Trumps Presidential Medal of Freedom offer in light of “the tragic events of last week.” The honor was scheduled to be bestowed upon Belichick on Thursday but the recent Capitol Hill disrespect by Trump supporters made the coach have a change of heart. “Recently, I was offered the opportunity to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which I was flattered by out of respect for what the honor represents and admiration for prior recipients.” Belichick stated while continuing “Subsequently, the tragic events of last week occurred and the decision has been made not to move forward with the award. Above all, I am an American citizen with great reverence for our nation’s values, freedom and democracy.”

An official spokesperson for the White House told CNN that they were aware of the decision. Belichick is a decorated coach whose won six Super Bowls during his more than 20 year tenure with the Patriots. His decision to break with the President comes after the Capitol Hill invasion which left five people dead including a federal officer.

The Federal Bureau of Investigations is keeping “law & order” by arresting Trump supporters that upended Capitol Hill on Wednesday. In the latest round of “white nationalist” invade sacred U.S. grounds, Richard Barnett has surrendered to the police after being identified as the squatter who was photographed at Nancy Pelosi’s desk. Barnett is also alleged to have obstructed Pelosi’s mail.

“The shocking images of Mr. Barnett with his boots up on a desk in the Speaker of the House’s office on Wednesday was repulsive” according to United States, Attorney General Jeffrey A. Rosen. He continued saying “Those who are proven to have committed criminal acts during the storming of the Capitol will face justice.”

The recent detainee spoke to KFSM about the felonious incident prior to his arrest. “I threw my feet up on the desk at that point. I realized some a**holes had cut me also and I bled on her envelope, so I picked up the envelope and put it in my pocket, and I put a quarter on the desk cause I’m not a thief .”

Mr. Barnett has been charged with “knowingly entering or remaining on restricted grounds without authority, violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds in addition to theft of public property. If found guilty he could face a year in prison.

A West Virginia lawmaker namely Derrick Evans has also been taken into custody after seemingly participating in the invasion. He is vehemently denying any criminal responsibility despite being captured on video amongst rioters. Evans colleagues who are also Virginia lawmakers are calling for his removal from public office.

Adam Johnson has likewise been arrested in connection with the Capitol Hill invasion and was the man who was pictured carrying Nancy Pelosi’s lectern. He was booked into the Pinellas county jail on Friday evening as reported by The Hill.

If Trump supporters intentions was to “Make America Great Again” by busting out windows on Capitol Hill and ransacking Congress members offices then making spaghetti great again wouldn’t include noodles nor tomato sauce. The blatant disrespect that took place on Capitol Hill Monday was crystal clear despite the onlookers political view. With former first lady Michelle Obama being the latest person to speak out against the criminal invasion that transpired and the “painful” hypocritical response to it.

“All I know is that now is a time for true patriotism. Now is the time for those who voted for this president to see the reality of what they’ve supported–and publicly and forcefully rebuke him and the actions of that mob.” She went on to say the invasion “left me with so many questions—questions about the future, questions about security, extremism, propaganda and more. But there’s one question I just can’t shake: What if these rioters had looked like the folks who go to Ebenezer Baptist Church every Sunday? What would of been different? We saw peaceful protestors met with brutal force. We saw cracked skulls and mass arrests, law enforcement pepper spraying it’s way through a peaceful demonstration for a presidential photo op.. Seeing the gulf between the responses to yesterday’s riot and this summer’s peaceful protests and the larger movement for social justice is so painful it hurts.”

President Elect-Joe Biden also sounded off on the stark contrast between how Black Lives Matter protestors were savagely handled in comparison to Trump supporters who invaded Capitol Hill. “You can’t tell me that if it had been a group of Black Lives Matter protestors yesterday they wouldn’t have been treated very differently than the mob of thugs that stormed the Capitol. We all know that is true and it is totally unacceptable. Totally unacceptable, the American people saw it in plain view.”

Obama concluded with a optimistic message saying “I pray that every American, especially those who disagree with them, will give our new Congress, President-Elect Biden and Vice President-Elect Harris the chance to lead us in a better direction.”
