Costco is the most recent retailer to discontinue sales of supplies namely coconut from “Thai Suppliers” according to USA today due to animal cruelty allegations from the Ethical Treatment of Animals Organization. According to the organization monkeys are allegedly being “chained up and treated like coconut picking machines”. Will Costco stand up against black people being treated like animals next?
