The American Music awards were held on Nov. 22 and Cardi B broke a new record by becoming the first artist in the organizations history to win twice in a favorites (Rap/Hiphop) category.
Her first victory was in 2018 for her breakout single “Bodak Yellow” and once more last night for her song “WAP” with Megan Thee Stallion. Cardi B (Belcalis Almanzar) was unable to attend the ceremony but did express her gratitude via social media saying “Thank you guys sooo much. Me and Meg really appreciate all the love from fans, celebs everybody that supported the song” she also thanked her fans for voting.
